Job Description

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the Training Coordinator is responsible for managing the training program, including content revision, online delivery via the Dayforce training platform, and overseeing the administration and coordination of employee training.

 

Role and responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of a learning management system by continuously analyzing skills development needs.
  • Identifying relevant training considering the constantly changing context and environment with the aim of ensuring organizational performance.
  • Maintain the skills matrix (such as certifications, training content, skills).
  • Establish performance indicators to facilitate day-to-day resource management.
  • Keep training content up to date and create new lesson plans as required.
  • Conceptualize content to effectively convey required information and meet time constraints.
  • Accompany and collaborate with managers, designers, writers, and specialists in the creation or updating of their content.
  • Write and produce a variety of quality training-related content for the entire company.
  • In collaboration with the training content creator, manage filming locations, extras, and equipment to ensure compliance with corporate principles and values.
  • Coordinate training plans by role or for career development purposes.
  • Keep abreast of new positions, new products or new technologies that require training or a training plan.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Relevant diploma in training administration.
  • Knowledge of video editing software (such as Camtesia and Articulate 360) and photo retouching software (such as Photoshop).
  • Creativity, autonomy, and interest in promoting the company's values.
  • Experience with a digital content management system an asset.
  • Advanced oral and written bilingualism (French - English).
