Sr. Manager, Pricing and Reimbursement

About This Role:

Veranex is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing and Reimbursement!

The successful applicant will have knowledge of the medical device, diagnostics and/or digital health industries, including market access dynamics, product pricing, and reimbursement.

What You Will Do:

• Senior role in tracking and evaluating of how health policy, commercial payer trends, CMS & the AMA actions are driving change in the execution of and payment for healthcare services in the United States
• Responsible for project execution and management:
• Development of project plan and timelines including roles and responsibilities among team members
• Manage external vendors to execute project tasks as needed
• Deliverable development and review
• Thought leadership and problem solving to deliver strategic recommendations to clients
• Check quality of client deliverables
• Coordination with and presentation to clients
• Support and assist in the development and review of proposals
• Mentor direct reports: coach and develop Associates and Senior Associates with constructive feedback based on project work performed
• Contribution to management operations
• Lead content training activities
• Experience with US device, drug, or coding submissions a plus (e.g., HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10-PCS, etc.)

Required skills:

• Manager level: Bachelors Degree in Health Policy, Life Sciences, Business Administration or related field plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant consulting experience

• Sr. Manager level: Bachelors Degree in Health Policy, Life Sciences, Business Administration or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant consulting experience or graduate degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant consulting experience, plus client facing experience, ability to lead/mentor upcoming Sr. Associates, ability to assist in generating client relationships that lead to new business

Required for both levels:

• Life sciences, healthcare consulting, or MedTech reimbursement or relevant background
• Working knowledge of US coding and payment system as it relates to government payers and commercial payers
• Demonstrated success of highly organized project management, ability to manage and motivate multiple project teams simultaneously, ability to pivot from one project to another successfully
• Thrive as team player in a fast-paced environment
