A day in the life of an Assistant Area Service Manager (Assistant ASM): 
 
Life as an Assistant ASM is all about teamwork and partnership as you work in support of the Area Service Manager (ASM) to perform warranty inspections to move into a future ASM role. In the Assistant ASM role, you will learn all stages of the Stanley Martin new home warranty, building process and vendor partners’ scope of work that will give you a foundation for future growth into the ASM role. On a daily basis, you will assist the ASM with quality walks, scheduling and managing warranty requests, ensuring the completion of all warrantable related work, and any other tasks required. Most of your day will consist of ensuring trade partners fulfil the timely completion of all scheduled tasks in a manner that is aligned with our quality standards.

What is Stanley Martin looking for in an AASM? 
 
The ideal AASM candidate is highly organized, possesses a positive attitude, is detail-oriented, can remain cool under pressure and can think outside of the box. Being able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with homebuyers, trade partners and internal groups is imperative to the success of this role.

Martin Alloy and Stanley Halle created Stanley Martin in 1966 in the Maryland suburbs outside of Washington, D.C.
