Porter/Driver - 2nd shift

Essence of the role (Role’s Purpose):

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead, the main responsibilities of the Porter will be to ensure that the office space, cafeteria space, restrooms, warehouse area, hallways in the general production area as well as the lobby and stairwells are always kept clean and well maintained, as well as to safely operate the Company shuttle according to the shuttle schedule.
   

Recipe for Success (Responsibilities):
•    Transport associates locally, by operating the company shuttle according to the standard operating procedure
•    Vacuum and mop all floors
•    Remove trash from all office and public areas
•    Dust all office space equipment, and furniture, including drinking fountain and glass doors
•    Maintenance and disinfecting of all restrooms and locker rooms
•    Weekly cleaning of parking lot, including but not limited to picking up trash, sweeping of front and rear entrance
•    Clean warehouse floor with tenant machine
•    Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
•    Use the trash compactor to eliminate waste
•    All other Duties and projects assigned
   

Ingredients Required (Qualifications):
•    Must have a clean Class D driver’s license
•    Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
•    Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively 
•    Basic knowledge of tools strongly preferred
•    Basic communication skills in English are required

Role’s Physical Requirements:
•    Must be able to lift 50lbs
•    Must be able to stand for 8 hours
•    Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment 

2nd shift- Monday- Friday 3pm- 11:30pm 

10% of rate added to hourly rate for the driving aspect of the role, if driving aspect is eliminated from the role, the position will transition to just the Porter role and the 10% will be eliminated. 

10% shift differential for 2nd shift hours.
