Orlando City joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league's 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS team in the Southeast. The Lions began league play in March 2015. In 2019, Orlando City re-launched Orlando City B (OCB) to bridge the gap between its successful youth development academy and the First Team.

The Orlando Pride, OCSC’s National Women’s Soccer League franchise, began play in 2016 – bringing professional women’s soccer to Orlando for the first time.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

You are a detail-oriented, team player with a partnership and operational mindset, ready to assist in planning and successful execution of all partner assets. You are a relationship-oriented individual that will work with current partners to understand their business and be collaborative across the organization to achieve objectives. You will work to elevate the level of service and support offered by the Brand Alliances department to our partners.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

● Have a customer service mindset and provide the highest level of coordination and service to partners.

● Lead gameday logistics for home games including, but not limited to: schedule and supervise Interns and game day ambassadors, oversee on-site partner activations including Fan Zone, compile match day run of show, photographer shot lists, and serve as internal operational point of contact for marketing, game presentation, operations, and security.

● Work cross-departmentally on coordination of gameday logistics and day to day execution of partnership elements as needed with marketing, creative, communications, ticket sales and operations. Provide updates to teammates and leadership as requested.

● Execute all partnership elements for a select number of corporate partner accounts. Fully integrate with knowledge of their business and develop unique ways to collaborate that benefit both parties.

● Primary point of contact for all trafficking and logistics for media partners and vendors such as Radio, Television, Photography, Fan Zone, and others as assigned.

● Assist Brand Alliances team with department presentation materials (Partner offers to employees, overview of department)

● Deliver ongoing creative marketing and implementation recommendations for current partners including retail activation, in-stadium promotions, special events and community outreach ideas.

● Maintain organized partner shared files, asset tracking and inventory.

● Some budget responsibility for partner accounts and assist with tracking of invoices assisting with some complex accounts.

● Facilitate ticket requests and distribution to our partners.

● Create recap reports for select partner accounts and partnership entitlements, including photos, screenshots, frequency reports, affidavits, etc. Assist with documentation and tracking of partnership performance metrics and proof of execution (photos/screenshots) via Nielson/Blinkfire and other third party data working with Business Intelligence team.

● Secure competitive pricing and ordering of department gifts and items as needed.

● Assist with execution of departmental events such as: Partner Summit, Youth Clinics, B2B Networking Events etc.

● Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in sport management, business, marketing, or related fields preferred or a combination of education and experience. 

● 2-3 years of partnership marketing and/or activation experience with a sports team or league preferred.

● Experience in the Florida marketplace preferred, but not necessary.

● Outstanding communication skills (both internal & external, written & oral) are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives.

● Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.

● Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.

● Must be highly organized.
