Licensed Mental Health Therapist

We are looking for a part time Licensed Mental Health Therapist that is able to conduct comprehensive diagnostic testing to children and adolescents. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) testing to children and adolescents to determine a diagnosis of Autism by assessing communication skills, social interactions, and imaginative use of materials.
  • Conduct a comprehensive clinical mental health intake utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and surveys, including the PHQ-9, C-SSRS, and a Biopsychosocial assessment.
  • Conduct structured interviews with clients and their parent/caregiver to assess deficits in social communication/interaction, nonverbal communication, and/or the ability to maintain relationships.
  • Be trained in providing ADOS testing.
  • Be knowledgeable about behavioral health services and resources.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, counseling or related field
  • Licensure in Social work or LPC
  • Knowledge related to the administration and scoring of psychological tests/assessments including interpreting and analyzing the statistical results of said assessments.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of clinical treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of evidenced based clinical therapy models in the treatment of mental illness.
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements.
