Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, National Payroll, the Dayforce HCM Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Human Capital Management (HCM) to meet the Neighbourly’s evolving needs. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME), working closely with Payroll, Human Resource, RRSP & Benefit and IT teams, and ensuring optimal function of Dayforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration for Dayforce HCM through maintenance and testing including but not limited to:
  •  Pay Policies and Entitlements
  •  New Earnings & Deductions
  •  Clock Devices and Web Clock
  •  Organization set up for Acquisitions
  •  Workflow Administration
  •  Security
  •  Deployment of additional modules (e.g. Onboarding, Benefits, Compensation)
  • Leverage expertise in Dayforce HCM specifically to review current state processes and develop future state processes based on best practices.
  • Create business process documents, job aides and guides for Dayforce users and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Support Payroll and HR to develop process efficiencies and ongoing process improvements. Train super users on functionalities, new features, and best practices.
  • Keep up to date with Dayforce Community page, understanding, prepare for and share information with respect to infrastructure changes, hot fixes and upgrades that may affect users.
  • Create ad hoc reports that are not available in the Dayforce report marketplace or Reporting and Analytics.
  • Escalation point to support Payroll Team and HR with trouble shooting and fixes related to HCM & Payroll issues.
  • Maintain security roles within Dayforce HCM, keep up to date with Dayforce security enhancements. Internal Audit on security roles.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience related Dayforce HCM (including Payroll, WFM, TAFW, Scheduling (Plan/KPI) and knowledge of Onboarding, Recruitment & Performance).
  • Must have experience with Dayforce HCM modules for payroll, Workforce Management, Time Away from Work and knowledge of Recruitment and Performance
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze business processes and workflows.
  • Strong technical skills advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for technical support.
