Kodak Alaris Colorado is the home of Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing and the Windsor Regional Distribution Center. The operations are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of thermal media for photographic applications.

Thermal Media Manufacturing

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintenance process mechanic position supporting a Thermal Media Manufacturing operation consisting of a gravure printing operation, converting and packaging operations, and building/site infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work Schedule – 5 1/2-day, 12 hour rotating shift.
• Responsible for maintenance of electrical systems, steam systems, and compressed air systems.
• Perform demand maintenance in all areas of Thermal Media MFG.
• Complete PMs, work shutdowns, generate/update procedures and prints, order and repair spare parts.
• Support engineering and operations as needed.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance tasks, project (installation) tasks, and light fabrication tasks

SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in automated equipment maintenance.
• Possess analytical trouble shooting skills driving to root cause of issues.
• Work effectively under pressure, display initiative and work safely.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work in and contribute to an integrated operations/maintenance/staff team environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical (motors/ PLCs /drives).

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS

• Experience with AB PLC's, PLC 5, Control Logix.
• Experience in Chemical Mixing, Electrical Machine controls, Pumps, and Control valves.
• Basic Machine Shop Skills
• Packaging/Finishing repair skills (stretch wrapper, shrink wrapper, heat tunnel, check scale, robots)
• Problem solving/troubleshooting skills and abilities.
• Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Aptitude to learn quickly.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal guidance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS 

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role desirable

Compensation:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
