Job Title: Data Science Intern

Job Description:

1. Works with the AI team in the area of Generative AI, especially large language models or adjacent areas, such as vector databases
2. Applying Generative AI Knowledge to solve problems for clients and internal users
3. Engage in extensive prompt engineering, which involves crafting effective input prompts to guide the generative model towards producing desired outputs. Experiment with different prompt formats, styles, and structures to optimize model performance and output quality.
4. Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of open-source generative models from the research community.
5. Implementing prototypes of various Data Science Components/Apps
6. Writing Python/Spark SQL code to implement prototypes from scratch
7. Building highly specialized predictive models and overall process flows
8. Usage of Advanced machine learning (Regression and Classification) techniques to solve ad-hoc problems

Qualifications

1. Good core undergraduate computer science skills
2. Sophomore or Junior with major in Computer Science and Data Science.  GPA 3.5+
3. Awareness of Large Language Models is a big plus
4. Beginner/Intermediate skills in Python and demonstrated ability to learn new languages
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
