Purchasing Technician

Eddyfi is looking for a purchasing technician like you to join our procurement team!

Your daily life:

As a key member of the team, , you'll be involved in planning material resources for the production of high-value instruments and equipment. Your strong sense of responsibility and good judgment will serve you well in your new role. You'll need to use your analytical skills to make informed decisions. Your good working methods will be put to good use to ensure effective inventory control for components purchased in Quebec and internationally.

In this role, you will :

• Prepare and transmit purchase orders;
• Prepare quotations and negotiate prices, deliveries and packaging in order to optimize acquisition costs;
• Update supplier information (delivery times, price, quality and service);
• Follow-up and follow-up with suppliers;
• Avoid inventory shortages;
• Ensure compliance with Eddyfi quality system procedures and requirements;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations;
• All other related tasks.

What We’re Looking For :

• You have a degree in administration or secretarial or other related field;
• You have excellent knowledge of the Office suite;
• You have excellent time and priority management skills;
• You have knowledge of the SAP ERP system (an asset);
• You are rigorous, autonomous and a good team player;
• You have an excellent ability to express yourself and write in French (English is an asset).
