On a day-to-day basis, we develop, produce and market non-destructive testing devices: sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Our instruments have applications in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, aerospace and nuclear.

 

Are you up for a challenge in the world of high-tech? We'd love to have you on board! Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Service Technician to join our sales team.

 

Your daily life:

As a key member of the team, your role entails collaborating closely with the Sales Team to support customers across the entire commercial process. Your responsibilities encompass coordinating installations, delivering technical support, and ensuring exemplary customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will be tasked with organizing pre-installation documentation, executing installations, documenting processes, and contributing to the preparation of detailed reports.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate as a cohesive team member with the local Sales Teams to facilitate sales opportunities, serving as a technical resource;
  • Communicate with customers and regional operations managers to coordinate all pre-installation requirements and logistics effectively;
  • Schedule and execute new installations and service visits;
  • Generate pre-installation, during installation, post-installation, and quarterly reports;
  • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing products;
  • Provide training to customers and partners on the installation and servicing of Eddyfi equipment;
  • Cultivate rapport with end-user customers;
  • Draft installation reports and recurring analyses and documentation for customers.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of a 2-year degree from a trade or technical school;
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or corrosion management service, sales, and/or operations;
  • Valued industry experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, or Aerospace;
  • Familiarity with industrial wireless/communication protocols is beneficial;
  • Preferred knowledge of Ultrasound Technology (UT), ideally at level I or II;
  • Comfortable navigating and operating within refinery/chemical plant environments;
  • Ability to travel at least 50% and maintain a flexible work schedule;
  • Proficiency in writing clear and professional technical reports;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities;
  • Self-starter with strong motivation, enthusiasm, and energy;
  • Capable of entering refineries and production facilities.
