Volunteer - Massage Therapist 

Are you a Registered Massage Therapist looking to volunteer your time and share your skill?

The Gianna Centre, a pregnancy support center, is currently recruiting two volunteer Registered Massage Therapists who will provide basic, non-intrusive massage therapy and relaxation techniques for women who may be going through a pregnancy crisis or experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. 

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:

• Completion of a massage therapy program and a current license as a registered massage therapist (RMT)
• Previous experience working with pre or post natal women 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy and personal boundaries
• Ability to commit long-term (6 months) 
• Available to volunteer between the hours of 9:00-4:00 on weekdays 

Location: Gianna Centre Office in Edmonton (in Strathearn)

Time Commitment: 6-8 hours per month
