Residential Site Manager - Full Time - Flexible

JOB TITLE: Residential Site Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non- Exempt

PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT:  Residential, OPWDD

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:  Assistant Director of Residential Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:  Responsible for implementation and supervision of daily residence operations for assigned residences and maintaining health and safety of the environment. This includes but is not limited to overseeing housekeeping, physical plant maintenance, staff scheduling, supervision, orientation and training, health-related care and medication administration, resident and household finances and implementation of resident plan of services. Provides direct supervision to residence staff by providing task assignments, training, and paperwork requirements, and all other aspects of staff/resident interactions. Teaches daily living skills, providing assistance, supervision, and counseling as needed, in accordance with individual needs and program plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field

Two (2) years’ experience in a Human Service capacity. 

High School Diploma or equivalent

Three (3) years’ experience in Human Service capacity, preferably with IDD population

Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field

One (1) year experience in Human Service capacity, preferably with IDD population

Or

An equivalent combination of directly relevant education, training, and/or experience deemed adequate for the position. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to effectively communicate with Individuals served, their families and staff

Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy

Ability to complete and maintain medication administration certification and SCIP-R Training

SALARY:

$23 per hour starting rate
