JOB SUMMARY:

Mason Companies interns will learn about internet marketing and provide support to the Internet Department and Marketing Department in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values. This is an exciting opportunity to compete on a national scale and gain valuable experience in paid search marketing, email marketing, web analytics, mobile marketing, social media, marketplaces, and a variety of other marketing areas. Located in Chippewa Falls, WI.

SCHEDULE DETAILS:

Flexible within standard office hours of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Monday – Friday.

 

Duration of Internship Assignment: 

  • Fall 2024 Semester Interns approximate start date of August 2024 lasting through May 2025.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES:

  • Analyze and make recommendations using Google Analytics and Glassbox
  • Enhance social media presence for Mason Companies, Inc.
  • Research and help implement mobile marketing programs
  • Manage a paid search program for one of our business units
  • Research new business opportunities and assist in implementation
  • Participate in holiday planning and other promotional marketing activities
  • Review and analyze email marketing programs
  • Contribute to Search Engine Optimization strategies for ShoeMall.com
  • Contribute to marketplace expansion efforts

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Student obtaining bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Must be familiar with Google Chrome, Firefox, and online shopping
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
