Dental State Manager | QLD | Full time

Revenue & Growth
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth by reviewing profit and loss statements as well as budgets to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Maintain forward thinking and support the National Operations Manager/Director to implement strategies that are focused on growth
- Work with the National Operations Manager and other State Managers to innovate and implement initiatives.
- Work with the Talent resource manager and actively engage in dentist recruitment to improve chair utilisation
- Build long lasting relationships with a focus on dentist retention
Quality care
- Build a network and collaborate with medical centre teams, practice managers and GM’s
- Ensure the centre is supported with required tools for efficient operations through purchasing and inventory management.
- Act as a CX Champion for the state - explore and implement strategies to minimize patient complaints. Monitor patient feedback, google reviews and NPS scores to improve customer experience
People Management
- Inspires a learning and high-performance culture within the centres by setting KPI’s and administering annual development plans for each direct report.
- Manages dentist rosters and chair utilisation. Report on performance issues to the Director and ensures performance concerns of practice employees are resolved promptly or escalated as needed.
- Coaches and mentors’ dental coordinators, and (where appropriate) other staff and initiate face-to-face engagements with all Dental Professionals frequently.
Desired Education, Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified in Business/Management or years of experience in successfully leading teams in the health care industry.
- Dental experience desired but not mandatory
- Proven experience mentoring and leading teams across a multi-site network
- A high level of commercial acumen with experience in effective operational management, business growth and improving customer experience
- Understanding of employee and independent contractor intricacies.
