Located on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic architecture. Our location in Culver, Indiana, offers the best of both worlds; a beautiful, serene setting with access to large cities nearby, including the home of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. We are also less than two hours away from Chicago and Indianapolis.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Culver Girls Academy (CGA) Counselor is responsible for each student's welfare, development, and progress assigned to her dormitory. Responsibilities include monitoring the dorm leader's performance, conducting group and individual conferences and counseling sessions with dorm members, and communicating with parents.

CGA Counselors must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The CGA Counselor is on call twenty-four hours a day, Monday through Friday, and rotates on-call status during the weekends.

You are asked to engage in other commitments that contribute to our promise of whole-person education.

REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree. Experience in youth program development and supervision is desired. This individual must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and be PC proficient. Additionally, they must possess excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills to communicate with children and their parents.
