Welcome to the home of LEADERS

Mission: Culver educates its students for leadership and responsible citizenship in society by developing and nurturing the whole individual, mind, spirit, and body, through integrated programs that emphasize the cultivation of character.

Culver Academies is a private boarding school. We enroll students and employ faculty and staff from across the United States and around the world. We are seeking diverse talent to support our mission and enrich our learning environment. At Culver, we are always looking to strengthen our organizational leadership by adding outstanding talent to our faculty and staff whose passion is to serve our students.

Located on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic architecture. Our location in Culver, Indiana, offers the best of both worlds; a beautiful, serene setting with access to large cities nearby, including the home of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. We are also less than two hours away from Chicago and Indianapolis.

Founded in 1894, Culver is located on the shores of Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana, two hours north of Indianapolis, two hours southeast of Chicago, and less than an hour south of Notre Dame. Culver, a four-year coed secondary school, provides an outstanding whole person education of mind, spirit, and body. It is the only college preparatory boarding school and summer camp to offer students an intentional, differentiated leadership and character development program. Students do not merely attend Culver; instead, they create a community through leadership, developing relationships that last a lifetime. Culver's excellence is enhanced by legions of loyal alumni who provide unprecedented support.

Culver Academies is comprised of three distinct yet cohesive entities: Culver Military Academy (CMA) for boys, Culver Girls Academies (CGA), and the Culver Summer Schools and Camps (CSSC). Henry Harrison Culver founded CMA in 1894 "for the purpose of thoroughly preparing young men for the best colleges, scientific schools, and businesses of America." Culver has been coeducational since 1971 with the establishment of CGA. Culver has developed a curriculum that focuses on educating its students for leadership and responsible citizenship by developing and nurturing the whole individual. With over 830 students and a $547 million endowment, Culver is one of the nation's largest and most prestigious boarding schools.
